Hamas threatens to kill hostages if Israel continues air strikes

The armed wing of Hamas declared on Monday that it would start beheading an Israeli captive if Israel were to continue attacking civilian homes without giving advance notice.

The spokesman for the Hamas armed wing, Abu Obaida, claimed that by protecting the Israeli hostages, they were acting in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Hamas attributed the intended action to Israel’s increased use of bombing and the unannounced slaughter of civilians inside their homes.
